THE opposition Movement for Democratic Change says the return to Zimbabwe of its party president after being issued with a new passport is a 'non-issue' adding that Morgan Tsvangirai is embarking on a ‘diplomatic mission’ which could see him visiting some Western countries in the next few days.

The MDC-T party deputy spokesperson, Thabitha Khumalo said: “"We cannot say when he would return because that would depend on when he would complete his diplomatic mission.”

Khumalo also confirmed news that the MDC-T leader has snubbed an invitation by President Mugabe to be sworn in a Prime Minister as agreed on September 15, 2008 because of 'unresolved issues'.

“He cannot be sworn in as Prime Minister before disputes on outstanding issues have been resolved,” Khumalo said.

The MDC-T leader remains in self-imposed exile in Botswana where he is a guest of President Seretse Ian Khama.
