DEAR EDITOR - I am sure many of your readers will agree with me that idealism has been lost in Zimbabwean politics. Many of our leaders are well-known for their opposition to "something" rather than what they can deliver. This is a really sad situation as we face some of the gravest problems our nation has ever faced.
The new crop of politicians are more known for their opposition to someone (or something) than for the ideas they are bringing to the table and their speeches are becoming almost predictable. Some of us lament the dearth of idealism in Zimbabwean politics.
This is probably one of the biggest challenges facing our nation today. If all these people could stop bickering and start doing real work, we could progress as a country.
