VICE-PRESIDENT Joyce Mujuru addressing delegates and invited guests at the Zanu PF 5th National People's Congress which ended at the weekend said that young people should be given special attention as they are the future custodians of the country's resources and heritage.

"There is need to give special attention to the youths as they are the future custodians of the country's natural resources and heritage," said the vice president.

Young people were urged to relate and identify with the country's history, liberation struggle and the deliberate empowerment policies being implemented by government.

The foregoing found resonance in President Mugabe's address who pointed out that for inclusive Government to succeed it should respond to the needs of its people, including young people.

President Mugabe noted that there were elements in the inclusive Government bent on subverting the current agrarian season.

"People need fertilizer which government cannot provide yet money is there.

"As a government we are not pulling in the same direction because others are calling for the freezing of funding.

"The Special Drawing Rights (SDR) received from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has been frozen because someone thought that it should not be utilized by beneficiaries of the agrarian reform," said President Mugabe.
