SCIENCE and technology deputy minister, Chrispin Musosha, has been sued by Bulks Haulage Limited for non-payment of US $10,000 for a water tank they supplied to him.

The company stated that they sold the said water tank to Musosha at the cost of US $30,000 and the money was to be paid in installments.

They stated that Musosha was supposed to have paid the first installment, which was US $20,000 on or before October 31, 2009 and the second installment on November 30, 2009.

The company stated that Musosha then paid the first amount - US $20,000 - as agreed before October 31, 2009 but had refused/ neglected to pay the second installment amounting to US $10,000 on or November 30, 2009 as agreed.

Bulks Haulage Limited stated that they had repeatedly reminded Musosha to pay the second installment but he had neglected to do so.

Bulks Haulage Limited is claiming payment of US $10,000, interest at the ruling Bank of Zambia rate on the said US $10,000 from November 10, 2009 to date of payment and any other relief the court may deem fit.
