MMD sets disciplinary committee against Mpombo

MMD national chairman Michael Mabenga has constituted a disciplinary committee against Kafulafuta member of parliament George Mpombo. According to the sources, the date for the disciplinary hearing against Mpombo was yet to be announced.

But Mpombo has expressed ignorance on the constitution of a disciplinary committee against him. He explained that he hadn’t had contact with them and had not received any letter of any disciplinary proceedings against him.

Efforts to get a comment from MMD national chairman Michael Mabenga proved futile as his phone was unreachable and when asked to comment of the matter, MMD national secretary Katele Kalumba refused to discuss the issue.
