The Gambian government's position on the tragedy in Ivory Coast
On the west's neocolonial refusal to respect the democratic verdict of the African people in choosing their own elected heads of state.

The Gambian government rejects the imposition of a murderous pro-western leader on the people of the Ivory Coast.

The problem is that the West cannot both support the democracy in Africa or anywhere else, while supporting their own corporate interests at the same time.
