Siliya acted irregularly- ZPPA

Former Transport and Communications Minister Dora Siliya acted irregularly when she instructed the Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) to cancel a tender which had already been awarded to a company.
ZPPA Director General Samuel Chibuye said the Minister had no authority to instruct the authority to cancel a tender which has already been awarded be cancelled.
Mr. Chibuye was testifying before the Investigations committee sitting to investigate the tendering procedure of supplying, delivering and installing of a Traffic Management Surveillance Radar System at the Kenneth Kaunda and Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International airports in Lusaka and Livingstone respectively.
And Chairperson of the Investigations Sebastian Zulu has summoned the former Director General for the ZPPA David KapitoloO to appear before the committee on Wednesday this week.
