ALL the stands at this year's Copperbelt Mining Agricultural and Commercial Show in Kitwe have been booked. Show society chairman Bill Osborn said in an interview in Kitwe that all the stands at this year's show had been booked and the show society was working hard to ensure a more interesting show this year.
Osborn said the show society would spend more than K250 million on various rehabilitation works in the show grounds and had already spent more than K40 million in the first phase for the water reticulation system.
Osborn said preparations for this year's show were going well and that he was happy that all the stands in the show ground had been booked, two months before the show opens to the public.
Osborn said water reticulation rehabilitation works were going on smoothly and was sure that this year's show would be excellent, although it will not have the cattle section.
"It is indeed an excellent development to have all the stands booked two months before the show opens to the general public. As regards our preparations, I must say we are firmly on course," he said.
