DEAR EDITOR – I am sorry to hear about the unfortunate incident involving the poor little girl (Courtney Sparrow who was mauled by lions at a farm in Zimbabwe recently: see story) and thank God for her survival and hope she will pull through all the way to the best that she can.

Most painful about the whole incident is the fact that it was an avoidable one.

Dawn I am sorry to point out that you are presenting this as a regrettable incident that victimized the wrong person. What do you mean when you say the partner had brought a couple of lions and left them in the garden vicinity as a form of protection as they have had a long on-going saga with war vets etc?

Am I right in assuming that the intention was to make any straying war vets meet the same fate with Courtney Sparrow?

I shudder to imagine that someone would deliberately want that to happen to anyone war vets etc or not.

Maybe Dawn may consider removing that first paragraph because it left me with a very bad taste of the whole incident. The more I look at it the more I think this was not meant for a public forum but rather to a specific group to whom those references make moral sense.
