The Paris Club of sovereign debitors has reached an agreement with the Ivory Coast to cancel $845 million worth of the country's debt with immediate affect, it said in a statement on Friday.
Creditors had also agreed to defer the repayment of arrears accumulated by the Ivory Coast on post cut-off date debts, it said.
