Letters - Fraudulent Zamtel sale

Fraudulent Zamtel sale

I find it shocking that Zambians, who are fully aware of their responsibility to their future generations, are still passive and indifferent in the face of the fraudulent sale of Zamtel and possibly Zesco.

Do we expect The Post newspaper to fight the battle for us?
The Post has done its best to inform us about the corruption of the Rupiah Banda regime despite threats and other kinds of persecutions.

The paper shall go into the annals of our history as the only tabloid in Zambia that has defended justice and rights of the citizens.

The Post has presented facts about Zamtel ever since RP Capital came on the scene, and it’s now time for the citizens to rise up and defend national assets with whatever means necessary.

Let us not wait until the sale is done - it’ll be too late. Now is the time for Zambians to get themselves counted by defying all odds in defence of the country's resources.

There is no serious country in the world that will sell off their telecommunications company.

Zamtel, Zesco and the mines are very strategic to this country and we can’t let foreigners take them over completely. This would be suicidal.

I appeal to all Zambians to heed the battle cry: ‘Strike a blow or die’. Enough is enough.
