FORUM for Democratic Alliance (FDA) leader Dr Ludwig Sondashi has urged Zambians to vote for a leader like him who will be able to implement things as well as wake the country up.

Speaking during the 'The People That Matter' programme on Joy FM radio, Sondashi said his ambition is to be president of Zambia to serve the country and to show Africa how a country should be run.

“I must be voted into power so that I can introduce knowledge of traditional medicine and tap the vast knowledge. Zambians are difficult to understand because they talk a lot and do a little so they must choose a leader like me to make Zambia wake up. God gives a person who is willing to work,” he said.
Sondashi said his ambition was to be president of Zambia to serve the country and show how a country should be run.

He urged young people who aspire to be leaders to show commitment, honesty and their ability to run the government instead of using politics as a way of making money.

“My advice to young people is that they must work. They are not serious and just want money so you wonder what is happening to this country. So until then, I will not leave leadership to them,” Sondashi said.

He said Obama's presidency was not from without because he worked hard and had a vision.

“We don't want to put people in State House who didn't even work, if I can find a young person like that I can even give them my party to run. We want to see young people like that not those who just want to gossip,” he added.

Sondashi who is also behind the discovery of the Sondashi Formula (SF 2000) believed to cure HIV and AIDS, said the herbal medicine that is currently undergoing trial in South Africa, is expected to be on the market as soon as it passes the test.

He said the formula was doing well as it cured many while others became well for years.

“After the trials in South Africa it will be on the market. It should have been distributed by the Zambian government for free just like they do with the ARV's but due to politics and the donors...people are not interested in promoting it,” he said.

Sondashi said there was need to find money and invest it in research of herbal medicine adding that indigenous knowledge was being killed.

“Lets not despise African medicine. Diseases can be cured by shrubs and the knowledge is vast but we are not as Africans trying to tap the knowledge of our forefathers who lived in far fetched areas where there were no hospitals but they survived on roots,” said Sondashi.

Sondashi said if the government took the SF 2000 it would generate a lot of money and would be out of problems but it was not interested in planning to take the country forward in future.
