LAND REFORM IN ZIMBABWE
This post is about the real news on land reform in Zimbabwe. Because of them being wedded to one specific pro-rhodesian narrative, you will not get the real news about Zimbabwe from the BBC, CNN or any mainstream news media.
After the Zimbabwean government let go of the 'Willing Buyer, Willing Seller' land reform program after the New Labour government of Tony Blair unilaterally reneged on it's obligations to fund land purchase in Zimbabwe, the government of Zimbabwe embarked on the Fast Track land reform program.
For it, the people of Zimbabwe and the government were punished with economic sanctions, which lead to hyperinflation. ZDERA was introduced in 2002, the year the trade surplus of 2001 collapsed because all trade takes place on credit, and the credit freeze ZDERA put the government on also froze trade. The purpose of these economic sanctions was to destroy the land reform program, and to make Africans look 'somehow' unable to farm or run their own affairs. This was the purpose of the economic sanctions created by the Bush Administration.
