According Chibale, the girls will have a tour starting Tuesday and they are scheduled to visit Malawi’s tourist destinations, among them Lake Malawi.
“We want them to appreciate the beauty of our country,” said Miss Malawi who met the six girls during her recent trip to Zimbabwe where she was invite to grace the crowning of that country’s beauty queen, Malaika Mushandu.
“They showed interest to visit Malawi – the warm heart of Africa – after going through photos from her album about the country’s tourism attractions,” she disclosed in an earlier interview with Nyasa Times.
Meanwhile, as indicated by Chibale, two parties have been organized in Blantyre and the capital city for the African queens to interact with people.
“I have been looking forward to this moment and am so excited to reunite with them after our meeting in Zimbabwe. I enjoyed sharing with them experiences about our countries and that time is here again,” said baby-faced Miss Malawi.—(Reporting by Kimpho Loka, Nyasa Times)
