THE joint team of investigations yesterday picked up former president Rupiah Banda's son Andrew from the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport. Sources said Andrew was picked up from the airport around 14:00 hours upon arrival on an Ethiopian Airways flight.

And spokesperson for the joint team of investigators Charity Chanda said Andrew was in the country to help with investigations.

When asked if Andrew was released, Chanda responded: "Nothing happened, we just had a brief…he is coming back tomorrow at 09:00 hours at the former Task Force on corruption. We are calling him for investigations.

I will give you the details tomorrow. Just know he is in the country to help with investigations. The rest of the details I will give them to you tomorrow today."
