THE Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) in Solwezi has arrested a job seeker for allegedly bribing a senior human resources officer at Kansanshi Mines PLC with K800,000.
ACC public relations manager Timothy Moono yesterday said Robert Mutale was last Thursday January 24, 2008 apprehended and charged for corruptly giving the K800,000 to Linda Mambwe in order to favour him and employ him in the mining firm.
"Mutale did this by going to Mambwe's home in December 2007, where he left a letter with the money. Upon opening the letter, Mambwe found the money and reported to Kansanshi Security who later reported to the ACC," Moono said.
