Tsvangirai’s great betrayal

Editor — Is it not too late in the day for MDC-T to start talking about the lifting of sanctions. After millions of Zimbabweans have been made destitute, after millions of children have been orphaned, after millions of families have been dislocated, after the economy has been made to scream?

The number of Zimbabweans that have died unnecessarily from 2001 to date is just too much. All for what? The price all Zimbabweans have paid for MDC-T’s ambitions to get into power has been too high.

Biti has just realised that he has no hope in hell of turning around the economy with sanctions still imposed on the country.

If what Tsvangirai and the MDC formations did to Zimbabweans is not treason, then someone needs to tell us what treason is. This has been the greatest betrayal of the Zimbabwean people.

It is us the ordinary Zimbabweans who have suffered and shed a million tears and not the elites. It is us ordinary Zimbabweans who have buried our loved ones who died unnecessarily because of the sanctions. What a betrayal!
