PRESIDENT Mwanawasa has appointed former Zambia National Commercial Bank (ZNCB) managing director Likolo Ndalamei as deputy secretary to the Cabinet with immediate effect. In statement released this afternoon, special assistant to the President for press and public relations John Musukuma announced that Ndalamei would serve under Finance and Economic Development at Cabinet Office.
Ndalamei previously worked for the Bank of Zambia in the period 1992 -1996 as assistant director in charge of economics.
He later was seconded to the Ministry of Finance and National Planning where he served as director of budget and Permanent Secretary in charge of budget and economic affairs respectively until June, 2002 when he became managing director for ZNCB.
