upnd flag2 300x215 Zambia: PF UPND Pact breakup is selfish and retrogressiveMost Zambians spoken to in the streets of Kitwe by UKZAMBIANS have expressed sadness over the breaking up of the PF-UPND pact saying that the move would see the MMD winning the elections this year.

“No doubt the MMD is going to win the elections again, the move to break the Pact is selfish and retrogressive,” said Nancy Nampungwe.

And Fr Bwalya regretted the breaking up of the UPND-PF Pact saying describing the move as a sad one adding that many Zambians had the hope in the pact.

In a telephone interview today (Friday) Fr Bwalya also said the PVT is a good system that would ensure credibility in this year’s general elections.

The refusal to accept the Parallel Voter Tabulation system (PVT) system would endanger security in Zambia, controversial Zambian catholic priest Fr Frank Bwalya has said.

“That is a good system, I am in support of that, if government rejects that then that would endanger the security of this country,” said the Roman Catholic priest.

Meanwhile Fr. Bwalya has dispelled rumours that he at one point wanted to marry Josephine Mulenga of Kitwe’s Buchi Township before he went for priesthood.

“That is not true, you know that am a priest how I would do that. That is not true,” /ENDS
